Set amongst the coastal hills of San Diego County, the Alta Residence’s French Country Architecture provided the main source of inspiration for the landscape. The design features rustic stone elements architecturally distinctive plantings, and outdoor spaces that take advantage of the Mediterranean climate and highlight the character of the architecture.
The main focal points of the design are the formal entry leading to the front door and the rose garden in the rear yard with diagonal decomposed granite pathways framed with boxwood hedges and fragrant roses.
